Helena Girón y Samuel M. Delgado 

Su trabajo investiga las relaciones entre mitología, historia y materialismo. Su primer largometraje, Eles transportan a morte (2021), fue estrenado y premiado en los festivales de Venecia y San Sebastián. Después, ha sido mostrado en festivales internacionales como Rotterdam, El Cairo, Mar del Plata, Viennale, Hamburgo o Sao Paulo.

Sus cortometrajes previos se mostraron en festivales como Toronto, Locarno, Nueva York o Ann Arbor entre muchos otros. Han realizado instalaciones y performances en centros de arte como CCCB (Barclona), BAM (Nueva York), TEA (Tenerife) o Solar (Vila do Conde).

Tras licenciarse en Comunicación Audiovisual, realiza el Máster de Guion de Cine y TV de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid y el Máster de Montaje Cinematográfico de la ESCAC.

Colabora como docente en la ECAM (Madrid), EQZE (San Sebastián) e IFIC (Tenerife).

 

Samuel M. Delgado

Ha realizado, junto a Helena Girón, las películas Bloom, Eles transportan a morte, Irmandade, Plus Ultra, Montañas ardientes que vomitan fuego, Sin Dios ni Santa María y las instalaciones y performances Colección húmeda, También aquí los dioses están presentes, No hay tierra más allá y Ejercicios de escucha ·1·2.

Ha co-escrito el guion de Blanco en blanco, dirigida por Théo Court, premiada en el festival de Venecia y candidata por Chile a los Premios Oscars. Ha editado el cortometraje Tout le monde aime le bord de la mer, dirigido por Keina Espiñeira, premiado en Rotterdam y nominado a los European Film Awards.

Es Licenciado en Comunicación Audiovisual. Ha realizado el Máster de Guion de Cine y TV de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, así como talleres internacionales de la EICTV de guion y producción.

Colabora como docente en la ECAM (Madrid), EQZE (San Sebastián), Instituto del Cine de Madrid e IFIC (Tenerife).

Helena Girón and Samuel M. Delgado

Their work investigates the relationship between mythology, history and materialism. Their first feature film, They Carry Death (2021), premiered at the Venice and San Sebastian festivals winning awards at both. After graduating with a degree in Audiovisual Communication, she got a Master in Screenwriting for film and TV from the University of Carlos III in Madrid and a Master in Editing for Film at the ESCAC.

She teaches at the ECAM (Madrid), EQZE (San Sebastián) and IFIC (Tenerife).

 

Samuel M. Delgado

He co-wrote the script for White on White, directed by Théo Court award winner at Venice International Film festival, and nominated by Chile for the Oscars. He edited the short film Tout le monde aime le bord de la mer, directed by Keina Espiñeira, award winner at the Rotterdam International Film Festival and nominated for the European Film Awards.

Samuel holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication, and received a Master in Screenwriting for film and TV from the University of Carlos III in Madrid, he has given workshops at the EICTV in direction and production.
