Igual que existe un proyecto de modernidad, existe un proyecto de naturaleza. El jard\u00edn es un espacio para la sublimaci\u00f3n de nuestras complejas enso\u00f1aciones de poder. Un constructo de control, una met\u00e1fora de nuestra especie que inmersa en un yo fundador, conforma cosmolog\u00edas de lo natural.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

La naturaleza no existe, existe el jard\u00edn, una ficci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica construida a imagen y semejanza de nuestros deseos. Especies hibridadas, injertas, desplazadas, torturadas y cruzadas, sometidas a estr\u00e9s h\u00eddrico o a falta de luz con el fin de obtener esos frutos que satisfagan nuestros sentidos. La representaci\u00f3n del jard\u00edn es, en la historia del arte, un espacio que se debate entre lo perturbador y el ansia de equilibrio. Queremos pensarlo aqu\u00ed como conflicto y como paradoja. Una imagen de la otredad total, una explicitaci\u00f3n de la relaci\u00f3n patol\u00f3gica humano-naturaleza ligadas a procesos de dominaci\u00f3n tanto sobre el medio biof\u00edsico como sobre otros seres humanos. Ante la naturaleza gestada como pensamiento de poder, desnaturalizaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Just as there is a project of modernity, there is a project of nature. The garden is a space for the sublimation of our complex dreams of power. A construct of control, a metaphor for our species that, immersed in a founding self, shapes cosmologies of the natural.<\/p>\n

Nature does not exist, the garden exists, a historical fiction constructed in the image and likeness of our desires. Species hybridised, grafted, displaced, tortured and crossed, subjected to water stress or lack of light in order to obtain those fruits that satisfy our senses. The representation of the garden is, in the history of art, a space that debates between the disturbing and the desire for balance. We want to think of it here as a conflict and a paradox. An image of total otherness, an explanation of the pathological human-nature relationship linked to processes of domination both over the biophysical environment and over other human beings. In the face of nature conceived as a thought of power, denaturalisation.<\/p>\n
